Rubbout is a Vancouver, BC grass-roots organization that has organized a social party event since 1992. It began as an annual houseparty for men who love rubber in all its incarnations at Bill Houghton’s house. It moved to a weekend long event and eventually production was taken over my Mitch Kenyon at Rubbout 12. After Rubbout 20, Mitch handed the production reins over to Reid Dalgleish, Rob Pont and Doug Mitchell. The execution of Rubbout every year is done entirely by unpaid volunteers who do it for the love of rubber and the men who love rubber. We are supported by a community of volunteers and local businesses who form the backbone of the organization. It has evolved into a sizeable event that is recognized both by the local gay community as well as the international rubber community.

Rubbout is a community-based organization that loves rubber and gear, loves parties and loves playing. We attempt to create a non-judgmental and casual atmosphere for rubbermen from all over the world to enjoy and explore their love of rubber, gear, and fetish, and encourage everyone to explore their fun and playful side.
